August 20, 2007 Daniel Spiewak Yeah, it's considered very bad practice to sync to the stratum 1 servers directly (time.nist.gov is a stratum 1). Stupid McAfee. It may be that your battery could be low on "juice" causing it to lag on the time. If it is already running, then stop it and then restart it again.
