Thanks. Then i tried to just let it load without touching anything and i got the second error message. I am thinking that it has something to do with either the hard disk or the RAM. after XP had finish loading up the setup files for installation I get a message 'File ntkrnlmp.exe could not be found error code is 4 setup could not continue' What is visit

It also at first was just automatically giving a blue screen (so quick that I couldn't see what it said), and would reboot. Moving on, I had a somewhat similar problem trying to install to a SCSI HD. Then when it finished again it restarted but then i was met with this error message, but instead of code 4 it is CODE 14.
