Windows Xp Document Failed To Print Error

When I check the printer box it says "error"I used all the standbys of rebooting and unplugging and plugging.I don't know what else to do. And is the printer set to default. This is seriously frustrating you!! After I click on print the switch button of printer and Print test page buttons are blinking continuously.

I would definitely uninstall anything to do with this printer and start over to save time.
