If it's any help, I often have to try running Kodi twice - the first time it silently fails, second time I get the error messagebox. I know its a bit messy, I'm sorry for that. Gcc Is Unable To Create An Executable File Ffmpeg
It will convert most any video file that FFmpeg will convert. So I installed it manually: sudo apt-get sudo apt-get install winff That works, but I'm stuck with 2 problems. WinFF Portable I uploaded the source and a PAP installer.
- If it is located at /bin/link.exe, then you have the wrong one in your PATH.
- Browse other questions tagged ubuntu gcc ffmpeg or ask your own question.
- It worked, what was so different from the one i used?
- Not many users come across different OS-languages in day to day use so removing the languages simply cripples the app for many non english speakers which otherwise could perfeclty use it.

WinFF is published under the GNU public license. The term does not imply that the software is free and open source software (FOSS). If it doesn't, try to remove Winff and then reinstall it back. Its still a bit messy, uncompressed and I haven't regshot it.

I searched the forum for solutions and one of them is to reinstall in another folder, other the program files, which I did,. e.g: If there is a official WinFF (e.g: 1.4.0) release: WinFF Portable 184.108.40.206 will become 1.4.0 If I make a change to 1.4.0 it will become 220.127.116.11, etc.
