I have Windvd as well as media > player> 9. Oooh, my windows media player still isn't working, but I am able to watch the dvds now through "intervideo WinDVD 8", so that's a massive improvement. This encoded data cannot be played on your computer in its normal format, so it has to be DECODED on your computer before it plays.
