As a workaround, I followed this to a point where I had the app ready to run, then disabled by Internet Connection and then disabled the firewall/AV.   2. Then i got a black screen after log in, task manager running explorer.exe gave me my screen back, restarted and now my pass word gives me invalid handle.

I questioned this and was told that they could only offer further help if I followed the recommended solution. A case like this could easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I had accessed the internet earlier in the day w/ no problems, and did not install anything new in the meantime, so am not sure what caused this. Installation was successful, HP Printer diagnostic tool found no problem but when I print any notepad, it prompts 'HANDLE IS INVALID'. Everything up and running again.

I spent 1h on the phone to support today with no sucess.
