- When I go to the Control Panel -> Sound and Audio Devices -> Volume the V is marked near the 'place volume icon in taskbar', I tried to unmark it and
- and i "accidentally" clean my registry again using ccleaner and the next time i boot up my pc my sounds are gone again.....
- should i re-installing it again ?
- Also, how about Microsofts UAA-driver?
- lets get this straight, all i have to do is get the linux cd on the internet and installed it over my xp or what?

Expert: B. Thank you sooo much for your doing the leg work for the rest of us. For those that don't want to work at this, I suggest they use the maker's supplied OS restore CDs, or have a friend or shop fix their PC.I guess I'm going I'll be back when the update is installed.
