I'd really appreciate a solution to this because the old machine runs useful legacy programs which will not run on a 64 bit Win 7 machine. From what I have read there are only 2 fixes, the link below (editing the registry) or downloading & running Security Manager. couldn't get rid of the error.. One site suggested using run to remove newdot.dll but I guess I don't know the run commands b/c what I've tried hasn't worked. I use Spy Hunter by Enigma myself. Check This Out I've tried them all ,but this was the only one that worked.
