My machine does not respond to any commands from the key board i.e. (C A D Control Alt Delete) My only current course of action is to turn off and re-boot. Yes, my password is: Forgot your password? The freeze is the same every time: complete hard-lock, mouse won't move, keyboard won't respond, and the system time freezes. Is there an error log I can pull out of the computer somewhere to see what's going on? The first scan it did, it froze on some Java2SE stuff it was scanning. Can someone please help me identify what is causing this problem? After the first startup, everything worked ok for a few minutes. No error messages or notices, the computer simply freezes and when it reboots it has no recollection of the incident. This generally happens over an hour into using my machine and has never happened at start up. also, when's the last time you cleaned your computer?

If I even just leave it running a disk defragmenter or virus scan, it will usually freeze during the scan. I have not yet tested all sticks to see if I have one bad one, but I booted it successfully with one stick and it still froze, so if the ram I need better ideas than all the above with that PSU stuff.
